Designation :: IT Business Analyst
Position Specific duties :
- Engage accounting professionals to research, analyze, and document process improvement opportunities
- Build and support accounting process improvements through digitalization and automation tools
- Research and recommend industry digitalization best practices and system technologies
- Lead change management and training activities related to the introduction of digital process improvements
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance of digital process automation tools
Required skill :
- Experience with financial concepts such as Budgets and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) requirements
- Experience with accounting systems and policies, ideally including the process that has been followed at John Deere
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with process automation and report visualization tools – Alteryx, BlackLine, Power Automate, Power BI, Tableau
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Ability to leverage large data sets to improve processes and provide better insights
- Strong collaboration skills with global teams
- Experience with programing languages – SQL, Python, Java
Desired Experience : Total experience of 8-10 years with:
- Experience working in accounting or finance environment. – 4 – 7 years
- Experience implementing process improvement initiatives with a robust focus on the delivery of new technology - 4 - 7 years
- A broad background of business experience within or outside the Company. - 4 - 7 years
Education :
- Degree in Finance/Accounting and Information Technology discipline or equivalent experience. - University Degree (4 years or equivalent
